Window treament color help?

I have a Caribbean teal blue color on my focus wall and the other ones are beige. I have a wall art piece that has red blue white black and purple in it. My comforter is black with accent pillows that are a teal looking blue. I need help on what color scheme would work good for the window treatments. I don’t know which one to focus on! thanks a bunch

Since your room already has a bunch of colors, I say you go with white curtains. Your room scheme seems beachy. White curtains could help finish off the clean, a super clean look that matches with all your colors nicely and polishes it off with some elegance. But if you’d rather do a color then I think you should go with the teal blue color. It all really depends on what wall the window(s) are on. If they are on the blue one then I say white 100% but if they are on the beige walls the blue might be better because the white might clash! Good luck!

Problem with french doors window treatment?

Hi, I have two french doors that are together. Only the right door opens. The left side does not. I have 30 inches of wall on the left side but none on the right side. I need to draw curtains only from the wall on the left. I would like to install grommet top drapes that I can draw for privacy at night. Can someone tell me what kind of rod I would need, and where to place it I have 12 inches from the ceiling to the top of the doors. Hope someone can advise me. Thanks

Have you considered using narrow-slat Venetian blinds that fasten at the bottom of the doors as well as the top? They can still be adjusted for privacy, but they don’t flap around. We have that arrangement on our French door and it works just fine. It has the advantage of allowing us to open the door slightly at night to let in fresh air, without a curtain billowing.
If you like the curtain look, but don’t want a loose curtain, you could hang a decorative curtain along the wall next to your French doors. It would not open out, but always be gathered up closed.
If this wouldn’t work for you, you could go ahead with your full curtain idea. I would suggest adding one of those clear plastic pull rods to the top of the open side of the curtain, so nobody has to grab the fabric and pull it out of shape or get it soiled.

My doors and windows are all kinda natural maple wood color. Now they looks pretty old with a lot of dust. I want to clean them up, and apply some kinda transparent paint or something to make them look nice. I don’t want to apply some other color, because I do like the natural wood color. Can someone help me on what steps I should take, what type of paint, stain or other stuff I need to use?
